Obituary of Grady L. Scott
Services for Grady Leroy Scott, 63, of Bridgeport, Texas will be 2:00 pm Monday, April 29, 2019 at Jones Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Burial will follow in East Bridgeport Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ricky Branscum, Kevin Ballard, Willie Bobert, Bo Hall, Johnny Stewart, and Gary Crowley. Visitation will be Monday at 1:00 pm, also at Jones. Grady passed away Easter Sunday, April 21 in Decatur, Texas.
Grady was born October 18, 1955 in Vernon, Texas to Robert and Naomie (West) Scott.
He loved being outdoors hunting, fishing, boating and camping. He also loved spending time with the grandkids.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years Deborah Scott of Bridgeport; son Grady Scott and wife Felicia of Bridgeport; daughter Tabbetha Morehead of Bridgeport; mother Naomie Scott of Rockwall, Texas; brother Robert Scott and wife Pam of Rockwall; sister Rita Elsler of Royce City, Texas; and grandchildren Kelli Scott, Marissia Bias, Erin Morehead, Destiny Morehead, Nickolas Scott, and Kason Morehead; and great-granddaughter on the way, Bryanna Scott.
Grady was preceded in death by his father Robert Scott, and brother David Scott.
