Obituary of Betty Jean Edgington
Betty Jean Edgington, 94, of Chico, Texas passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 in Decatur, Texas. Services will be held at a later date.
She was born on May 18, 1924 in Wellington, Kansas to Henry and Stella (Butler) Kolander. On August 14,1943 Betty married Roy Edgington in Oklahoma.
Betty really enjoyed working in the yard. She was a great cook and loved to rearrange the house. She was a wonderful Granny and loved her grandchildren deeply.
She was survived by her son Eugene Edgington of Chico; daughter Stella McClung of Chico; brother Floyd Kolander of Brownsville, Texas; sister Sonya Bergschneider of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, husband Roy Edgington, brothers Henry Kolander and Douglas Kolander, sisters Ramona Esphahanian and LaNita Kolander.
