Obituary of Richard D. Milligan
A memorial service for Richard David Milligan, 70, of Denton, Texas, will be 1:30 pm, Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, officiated by Paul Milligan. Richard passed away Sunday, July 14 in Denton.
Rick was born July 2, 1949 in Decatur, Texas to De Loyd and Nelda Bernice (Gentry) Milligan.
He was an electrician by trade, and his hobbies included taming and riding horses, and playing sports in his younger years. He loved life and was a very kind and generous soul.
Survivors include his daughters Michelle Renee Milligan of Bridgeport, Texas, and Teresa Ann Milligan of Indianapolis, Indiana; son Brent Loyd Milligan of Bridgeport; brothers Paul Milligan and wife Patsy of Woodland Park, Colorado, Mark Milligan and Max Milligan of Haltom City, Texas; godson Tommy Lee Reed of Bridgeport; grandchildren Savannah Dell Lee, Ashlen Hailey Brewer, Preston Lamar Duff, and Toby Jagger Demmitt; and great-grandchild Raylen Horne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Jeanie Milligan.
