Obituary of Joan Annelle Madeen
Funeral service for Joan Annelle Madeen, 77, of Rhome, Texas will be 10:00 am on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas officiated by Pastor Louis Horton. Burial will follow at Olive Branch Cemetery in Chico, Texas. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service, also at the funeral home. Joan passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 in Wichita Falls, Texas.
She was born on November 12, 1942 in Borger, Texas to Pete and Wilamae (Dye) Wheeler. Joan really loved animals, especially her six cats.
She is survived by her sons Greg Wood and wife Marie of Bridgeport and Ross Wood and wife Brenda of Riverside, California; daughter Gwendolyn Campbell and husband Doug of Runaway Bay, Texas; brother Josh Wheeler and wife Betty of Pampa, Texas; sister Voncille Nolan of Casper, Wyoming; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and many more family and friends.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter LaTisha Holland.
