When my family moved to Bridgeport in the early 1960's, my mother, along with her 3 pre-school age children, would use Mr. & Mrs. Billington's round storm cellar during bad weather. Such an adventure for me as a 4-year old. We lived behind Sparky's Fina across the street. My dad drove a rock truck during the night. They were so kind and helpful. Loved the sandwiches during lunch. It is a great memory. Rest in Peace Mrs. Billington.
