Obituary of Julie Wenke
Julie Lynne Wenke, 59, of Decatur, Texas passed away Monday, February 3, 2020 at home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date to honor her memory.
She was born July 12, 1960 in Los Angeles, California to Burt Veneable and Norma Jean Johnson.
Julie was a real estate agent until her retirement six years ago.
Her hobbies included listening to Dan Fogelberg and Barbra Streisand music while painting. She was a big Kevin Costner fan and had seen all his movies.
One of Julie’s favorite places was the beach and she would sit on the shore for hours, listening to the waves.
She lived for spoiling her grandchildren.
Left behind to cherish her memory are daughters Jennifer Tiner and husband Will, and Courtney Thomas and husband Steven; mother Norma Jean James; brother-in-law Kenny Wenke; and grandchildren Joseph and Violet Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her father.
