Obituary of Melissa Aronson

A visitation for Melissa Carol Aronson, 59, of Boyd, Texas will be 10:00 am Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Melissa passed away Friday, April 24, 2020 at home.

 

She was born October 25, 1960 to Edward Guy and Carol Ann (Williams) Cook in Fort Worth, Texas.

 

Melissa was a member of Azle Baptist Church in Azle, Texas.

 

She was an avid fan of Lady Gaga’s music, watching TV, particularly old black and white movies, fancy purses and sunglasses, being a shoe and jewelry aficionado, her EOS ChapStick, her dogs Annie, Bella, and Mickey Mouse.

 

She loved spending time with family, and was a proud mother and grandmother.

 

Melissa is survived by her father Guy Cook of Fort Worth, mother Carol Ann Adley and husband Randy of Azle; son John Brooks and wife Karen Harbison of Boyd; siblings Patty Kinney of Oklahoma, Michelle Tennison of Haltom City, Texas, and Cliff Cook and wife LeAnne of Fort Worth, Texas; grandchildren Braylon and Brooks; nieces Tierney Cook, Nicole Hill, Candice Sageser, Carlie Nolen, Carsyn Nolen; nephews Terry Ray, Rickey Kinney, Casey Sageser, Timothy Cook; and a slew of other family members.

 

She was preceded in death by brother-in-law Mark Tennison and sister Cheryl LaRay.
