Obituary of Frances Poteet
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date for Frances (Shurden) Poteet, 91, of Decatur, Texas. Frances passed away at home Tuesday, June 9, 2020.
She was born November 13, 1928 in Greenwood, Mississippi to Walter and Beatrice Uldine (Woodruff) Shurden.
Survivors include daughter Linda (Murphree) Forester and husband Lonnie of Decatur, son James L. Hammock and wife Kathie of Mineral Wells, Texas, and numerous other family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Richard Poteet.
She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She will be missed, but her love and memory will live on. Your loving children.
