Obituary of Mary Young
A graveside service for Mary Louise Young, 83, of Bridgeport, Texas will be 10:00 am Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at Eastside Cemetery in Bridgeport, officiated by Pastor Rick Davis. An all-day open visitation from 9:00 am - 8 pm will be Monday, July 6 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Mary passed away at home Thursday, July 2.
She was born July 26, 1936 in Osaka, Kansas to Walter and Esta (Towell) Gile. She married Keith Young on March 31, 1957 in Lawrence, Kansas, and the couple settled in Wise County in 1979. She was a homemaker and a member of the Spirit Life Church.
Survivors include son Allan Young of Dublin, Texas; daughters Julie Young and Janette Files, both of Bridgeport; grandchildren Sheree Gray, Jordan Files, Sophie Fillipelli, Gretchen Jensen, Hope Young and Viki Shade; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Keith Young, sister Eva Morris, and brother Bill Gile, Sr.
