Obituary of Dwayne Dugan

Services for Tommy Dwayne Dugan, 53, of Chico, Texas will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, September 22, 2020 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas, officiated by Pastor Bill Hughes. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery #1, south of Decatur, Texas. Pallbearers are Dan Baxter. Mikie Parsons, Jeremy Dugan, Wes Dugan, Mike Miller, and Bill Raburn. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Monday, September 21, also at the funeral home. Dwayne passed away Friday, September 18 at home.

He was born March 21, 1967 in Decatur, Texas to parents Thomas and Faye (Ford) Dugan.

Dwayne was a kid at heart. He had a sweet tooth and loved to watch cartoons and snack on the stash of candy he always had close by.

He had an excellent sense of humor. He was also an excellent ‘air’ musician and would play the drums when his favorite song came on the radio.

He loved to tinker. He was a creative sort and had the talent of taking pieces of junk and turning them into treasures.

Dwayne leaves behind father Thomas Dugan and Darlene Dugan; daughters Amber Geib and husband John of Combine, Texas, and Ashley Dugan of Combine; sons Kyle Dugan and wife Tiffany of Kemp, Texas, and Michael Dugan of Chico;  sisters Sherry Dugan of Chico, and Beverly Caperna and husband Darren of Garland, Texas, and Mary Ortega of Sanger, Texas; brother Jeremy Dugan of Mill Creek, Oklahoma, Danny Frates of Madill, Oklahoma; and grandchildren Paityn, Adalyn, Rebel, Kanaalaq, Declan, and Billie.

He was preceded in death by his mother Faye, and brother Douglas Dugan.
