Obituary of Crispin Aguero

A memorial service for Crispin Aguero, 69, of Alvord, Texas will be 2:00 pm Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas. Crispin passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 in Decatur, Texas after a lengthy illness.

Crispin was born October 25, 1951 in Acuna, Coahuila, Mexico to Hilario and Herlinda (Chavarria) Aguero.

In his younger years he was a marathon runner. While still in Mexico he worked for Coca-Cola for many years. He also worked in accounting. He was also captain of the Red Cross in Mexico for years.

After moving to Texas, he worked as a landscaper. It was in Decatur, Texas that his children were raised.

He is survived by the children’s mom Rosa Aguero; sons Juan Aguero of Decatur, Texas, and Jose Aguero of Decatur; daughter Herminia ‘Minie’ Aguero; grandson Ryland Aguero; brothers Juan de Dios and wife Loreza (Aguilar), and Jose Juan Aguero and wife Leticia; and numerous other family.

Crispin was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Herminia Aguero and Maria Caldera, and brother Eliseo Aguero.
