Obituary of Billye Jackson

Visitation for Billye Jackson, 74, of Bridgeport will be Friday, January 8, 2020, 6-8 PM at Hudson and Torres Family Funeral Home.  Burial will be held at a later date at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth. 

He was born August 9, 1946 to Tracy Ivy Jackson and Anna L. Odom in Fort Worth, Texas.  

Billye spent many years in the Paint and Auto Body Shop business, owning his own shop in Jacksboro.  In his spare time, he loved to hunt, fish, and go bowling.  He was a great barbecue cook and made the best scratch pie around.  He built barbecue smokers and gave them to his friends.

He is survived by son, Dickie Wayne Jackson; grandchildren, Mathew and Nevaeh; sister, LaUna Stevens; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Billye was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Troy Lynn Jackson; sisters, Cathy Clayton, and Karen Elaine Evans; brothers in law, Thomas H. Stevens, and Roy Evans.
