Obituary of Sheryl J. Smith
Memorial service for Sheryl J. Smith, 71, of Bridgeport, will be Saturday, February 6, 11:00 AM at Cates Street Church of Christ. Brother Scott Strother will officiate. She passed away February 2 in Decatur.
Sheryl was born to William Royal Fisher and Louise Mae Conley Conrad in Syracuse, New York. She loved to paint, draw, and read. Sheryl loved her children and grandchildren; she told each one they were her favorite. Before she retired, she worked as a CNA in nursing homes and Decatur Community Hospital. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are daughters, Bambi Smith & Chris Stewart of Red Oak, Candi Smith of Runaway Bay; son, Michael Smith & wife Christi of Bridgeport; daughter, Brandi Harper & husband Andrew of Bridgeport; brother, John Conrad & wife Debbie of Bridgeport; sister, Joy Murray of Tennessee; grandchildren, Logan Bunce, Hayden Bunce, Connor Smith, Skylar Smith, Garrett Smith, Cole Holley, Shirah Smith, Xavier Smith-Olvera, and Marlee Harper; and numerous other family and friends.
Sheryl was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Jeff Conrad.
