Rendie Young posted a condolence

Raymond Tiller touched the life of Lionel and Rendie Young in so many ways! His humility, humor, compassion, encouragement, genuine Personality, love, kindness, consistency, helpfulness, and his ability to bring joy in the midst of your down days. While I question the Lords need of taking this man, I have no doubts He had His purposes we will one day understand. We have missed him so much as his Pastor and wife already, so much more knowing he has beat us to heaven. How fun it will be to see him amongst the others we love when we all get where we’re going! We love each of you that he called family and pray in the coming days Gods grace be your comfort! Our love! Lionel and Rendie❤️

This man right here has an incredible life story and I am damn proud to be part of it. He came into my life as a young spoiled brat. Took on me and my little brother. Taught us both life lessons and was there for us EVERY step of the way. Good or bad he had a positive attitude and always lifted us up in the negative times and was so proud in the positive. And years later his sidekick and pride and joy was born Landon. We are so blessed that he had him to call his paw. And anyone who judged and didn't accept him for his past missed out on an amazing journey. He will be greatly missed.

Dear Raymond,
I regret I can not be there for your service. I am clear on the other side of the world. There are many reasons I can not make the trip home to say "Good-Bye".
I will never forget the special times we spent together in Dilley. Everyone said we looked alike.
If I am ever able to return to the USA I will visit your grave and we will talk some more. Save a space for me in heaven.
You will continue to inspire me for the rest of my life. I am proud to be your brother.
With eternal love,
David
