Obituary of Clinton M. Voth

Inurnment for Clinton Maurice Voth, 92, of Runaway Bay, Texas will be held at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas on Monday, March 29, at 3:15 PM.  Clinton passed away Monday, February 22, 2021 in North Richland Hills, Texas.

 

He was born in Larned, Kansas on July 11, 1928, one of ten children born to Ben and Esther (Schmidt) Voth. 

 

He served our country in the Army, serving two tours in Korea and two tours in Vietnam, and served as a NCO until his retirement after 20 years of service. For his bravery in action against hostile forces in Vietnam he was awarded the Bronze Star Medal for Meritorious Achievement.

 

After retirement he worked as an electrician for Brown and Root, helping to build Comanche Peak Nuclear Power Plant.

 

In his later years he moved to Runaway Bay where he was surrounded by good friends and neighbors. He enjoyed the view on Lake Bridgeport, but wasn’t opposed to heading north to the casino.

 

He is survived by wife Kim Olson of Fort Worth, Texas; son David Voth; and sister Lois Posey of Pawnee Rock, Kansas; and other family.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Wilmer Voth.
