Obituary of Cathy Patterson
In the early hours of Sunday March 21, 2021, Cathy Jean Patterson went to join her Savior, her God, and her mother in heaven.
Born Cathy Jean Prior, Cathy was the third of seven children, a mother of three, and grandmother of four. She was married to her surviving husband, Larry Patterson, for 32 years. They were brought together by the Lord in 1989 while working in the same lab within the microchip manufacturing industry. In her lifetime, Cathy was also an office manager for Camp Summit, a teacher, and a spiritual counselor to many. A self-declared “prayer warrior”, her faith in God was paralleled only by the love she gave to others. She was a three-time breast cancer survivor, a passionate cook, and the heart of her family.
Cathy is survived by her husband Larry Patterson, son Aaron Royston, and daughters Niki Davis and Sarah Patterson. She is also survived by her six siblings and father Maurice Prior, and is reunited with her mother Renee Prior.
