Obituary of Victor Elliott
A memorial service for Victor Deaune Elliott, 59, of Bridgeport, Texas will be 2:00 pm Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, officiated by Larry Fair. Victor passed away suddenly while on vacation Sunday, August 1, 2021 in Oklahoma.
He was born February 12, 1962 in Midland, Texas to Edward and Allene (Gamel) Elliott.
His adult life was spent as a driver, first with trucks, then as a bus driver for Bridgeport ISD for the past several years.
Victor enjoyed all aspects of life and loved creating those memories with family and friends. He loved making people laugh, and could produce that effect often. One of the grandchildren described him this way, “He was like a little kid trapped in an old man’s body.”
He leaves behind his wife of 35 years Tammy (Passmore) Elliott of Bridgeport; children Jennifer Van and husband Jason of Rhome, Texas, Michael Elliott and wife Charla of Clinton, Oklahoma, Edward Elliott and wife Morgan of Bridgeport, and Jessica Elliott of Bridgeport; sisters Brenda Robinson and husband James of Midland, and Molly Elliott and Johnny Myers of Golden Valley, Arizona; grandchildren Ben, Matthew, Rylen, Connor, Corben, Audrie, Thea, Christopher, and Levi; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Danny and Mike Elliott.
