Obituary of Arthur Manuel
Services for Arthur Wayne Manuel, 36, of Chico, Texas will be 2:00 pm Sunday, August 15, 2021 at Hudson & Torres Family Funeral Home in Bridgeport, Texas, officiated by Pastor Kevin Casey. Visitation will be 1:00 pm, one hour prior to the service. A private family burial will be held at a later date in Cresson Cemetery in Cresson, Texas. Arthur passed away Monday, August 9 in Decatur.
An only child, he was born January 9, 1985 in Azle, Texas to Norman Luke Manuel and wife Cynthia Pauline (Cannon) Manuel.
He was an Air Force vet and worked as a jet propulsion engineer.
Arthur was a perpetual student and earned a culinary degree, as well as an HVAC degree.
Arthur is survived by his wife Amanda (Largent) Manuel of Chico, father Luke Manuel, stepmother Mary Elizabeth Smith, mother-in-law Debora Pryor, children Fiona and Vivian Manuel, Fiona’s mother Ida Bell Manuel, and grandmother Martha Ann Manuel, and numerous other family.
He was preceded in death by mother Cynthia Manuel, grandparents Buck Wayne and Rosemary Cannon, and grandfather Arthur Leroy Manuel.
