Obituary of Margaret Puckett

Graveside services for Margaret ‘Peggy’ Puckett, 69, of Ennis, Texas will be held at 2:00 pm in Runaway Bay’s Jim Ned Cemetery on Friday, August 13, 2021, officiated by Brother Eddie Minor. Margaret passed away July 15 in Ennis.

 

She was born December 26, 1951 to Ralph and Evelyn (Ripper) Campion in Gary, Indiana.

 

Peggy is survived by life companion George Skrivanek; sons Howard Smith of Beaumont, Texas, Timothy Smith and Leona Dixon of Ennis, Texas, and Robert ‘Bobby’ Chapman, Jr. of Livingston, Texas; daughter Melissa Cadena and husband Gilbert from California; stepchildren Landon Puckett and wife Sabrina, and Ashley Grube and husband Merl; siblings Robert Brayfield and wife Diana of Hobert, Indiana, John Wise and wife Arlene of Ober, Indiana, Karen Boger of Pekin, Illinois, Carol Hanna and husband Charles of North Judson, Indiana, Ralph Campion of Walkerton, Indiana, and Mary Sampson, also of Walkerton; grandchildren Christa Mahurin and husband Brian, Jasmin Smith and Lewis Massengale, Hallie Jo Goodwin, Austin Michael Fuller, Nathan Dixon and wife Kristin, Cody Dixon and Peyton Bowles, Tyler Jimerson, and Autumn and Brandon Jackson; and great-grandchildren Farrah, Christian, Calvin, Davien, Kynzlie, Jadyn, Lilly, Heidee, Layton, Huntleigh, Brolyn, Hendrix, Atlas, William, Byron, Daniel, Amy, and Ava.                            

                                   

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Dylan Chapman, husband Richard Puckett, sister-in-law Cheryl Campion, and sister Deleen ‘Finky’ Cook.
