Tonia Windsor

Obituary of Tonia Windsor

On Saturday morning, September 25, 2021 our beloved Tonia unexpectedly left this world and entered into the awesome presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She was born to parents James and Wanda (Williams) Duty in Dallas, Texas on August 6, 1967.  This little girl was a surprise, since the three older siblings were all boys.

Tonia is survived by her husband William Scott Windsor of Alvord, Texas; parents James and Wanda Duty of Sachse, Texas; three children:  Rachel Keo of Missoula, Montana, Derek Keo of Bells, Texas, and Brent Keo of Denver, Colorado; brothers James ‘Jimmy’ Duty, Jr. and wife Renate of Sachse, and Daniel Duty and wife Marci of Richardson, Texas; sister-in-law Karin Duty of Murphy, Texas; stepdaughters Victoria Windsor of Dallas, Texas and Elizabeth Windsor of The Colony, Texas.

She was preceded into a greater life by one brother whom she adored, Lalen Milton Duty.

Tonia’s love was great for her children, family and extended family. It encompassed any others she met who had a need, often coming upon an accident scene and comforting the injured or dying. All of this seemed to be her ministry in life.

A memorial service is planned for a later date.

Tonia will always be remembered for her keen intellect, wit, many abilities, and desire to help others.  We love you, miss you, but will see you again.

The family requests all memorial donations be delayed until the memorial service is planned.
