Tim was one of the kindest, gentlest men I’ve known. I hadn’t seen him for many years until crossing paths with him recently. . It was good to see him and catch up. I’m now more thankful for that conversation. My condolences to his family.

Gena, I am so sorry for your loss. I lost my wife, my life's companion about 3 years ago after 56 years of marriage, so I know the depth grief can go. In the Bible are words that can give us hope of seeing our loved ones again. One is John 5:28, 29 where Jesus promised to resurrect all those in the graves. So, we both could see our loved ones again. Jesus also promised a new world where God would dwell with men and would do away with death, sorrow, tears and pain. (Revelation 21:1-4). There is a brochure about grief and dealing with it and about the hope of the dead that helped me and many others, entitled, "WHEN SOMEONE YOU LOVE DIES". It is available to you at the link below. It's free, there are no ads and never requests for donations. I hope it helps. Steve

Truly, I have no words. Time got away from us after you guys got married, but as it happens with friends, time didn’t really matter. Then one day I get a cross in the mail, handmade out of Texas Tech red and black survival cord. I move it from car to car, and think of him when I see it. As my heart breaks for you, Gena, I can picture him sitting next to Jesus, probably telling Him some tale (that may or may not be true), and loving every minute of it. Love you all. ~ KA
