Obituary of Timothy Charles Steelman
Tim Steelman, 59, of Decatur passed away December 10, 2018 in Decatur. Funeral service will be Thursday December 13, 2018 at 10:00 am at Community Church with Pastor Chris Wann officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm Wednesday at Jones Family Funeral Home in Decatur.
Tim was born November 29, 1959 in Lubbock to Tommy and Sharlene Steelman. He married Gena Williamson on June 22, 1985 in Lubbock. Tim's passion was being a cowboy and working on ranches. He enjoyed working with children and went on numerous mission trips to spread the gospel to everyone. Tim dearly loved his family and friends and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Tim is survived by his wife of 33 years Gena Steelman of Decatur, brothers, Pete Steelman of Denton, Tuck Steelman of Lubbock; sister, Mary Conley of Lubbock; his beloved in-laws, Jan and Gene Williamson of Lubbock; numerous nieces and a multitude of children that he loved liked they were his own.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John Steelman.
