Obituary of Mike Cheves II
A Memorial service for Mike Cheves II, 49, of Bridgeport, Texas will be Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church in Chico, Texas, officiated by Pastor William Harris. Mike passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019 at home in Denton, Texas.
He was born on September 28, 1969 in Bridgeport to Tony and Carolyn (Story) Cheves. Mike married his wife of 29 years, Kristie (Mader) Cheves, June 30, 1990 in Lake Bridgeport.
Mike loved his children and grandchildren more than anything. He had a huge and tender heart and any time he encountered someone in need he was always willing to help whether it be financially, spiritually, or emotionally. Mike enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He loved listening to live music and dancing.
He was survived by his wife; daughters Shelby Bearden and husband Evan of Allen, Texas and Marty Stewart and husband Blake of Denton; son Michael Anthony Cheves III and wife Monica of Columbus, Georgia; and seven grandchildren; sisters Melissa Moore, Krissy Kinkaid, and Catherine Cheves; brothers Mark Cheves and Joey Louvat.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents and his stepmother Vicki Cheves.
He was loved by many friends and family.
